TROUBLE

There is not a day, when Sophia makes us all laugh. She definetly is the comedian in our family. On one particular day, we were all sitting around the table eating dinner, and Emily was pointing to each of us and saying our names. This is how our conversation went:

Mom-what's his name?
Em- Kanen (Kaden)
Mom- what's her name?
Em- Brenna (Brianna)
Mom- what's my name?
Em- Mommy
Mom-what's his name?
Em- Daddy
Mom- what's your name?
Em- Emmany
Mom- what's her name?
Em- Soapy (Sophie)
Sophie- No my name is TROUBLE!
We had to peel Spencer off the floor after that one. If any time we need a good laugh, we just ask Sophie to come and talk to us. And if you talk to her long enough, sooner or later she has got you rolling on the floor.

Shooters

This year Kaden had the opportunity to play again with the Shooters basketball team. And it has been so much fun to watch them learn how to play, and love the game they are playing. I find myself being one of those parents who yells way to loud and screams at the top of my lungs when they make a basket. They look so darn cute in their uniforms and warm-ups, that they remind me of a minature High School team. So far his team hasn't won any games, but he says that doesn't matter as long as they are having fun. I am so proud of him and look forward 8 years down the road to when he is in High School playing basketball. And I'm sure I'll still be one of those parents yelling way to loud and screaming at the top of my lungs when they make a basket.

Dad the "Babysitter"

So, on this particular day, I had to run an errand and left the kids with Spencer. I had asked him to get the kids ready for bed. He assured me everyone would be in bed by the time I got home. So when I got home at 8:00 p.m. this is what I found in our bedroom. Kaden and Sophie STILL in their clothes and not dressed in jammies. Emily dressed in jammies, but had my mascara on her face. Brianna (who isn't in the picture) playing the piano and singing at the top her lungs. The t.v. in the family room on and the T.V. in our bedroom on. Both with the volume up on high. The only person who was asleep in their bed was Spencer. So that is what happens when I ask Dad to "Babysit".
